Projects
Photography and Video Producer
Here is a small selection of some of my favourite work.
Most of these projects involved the application of my professional skills:
Pitching and treatments | Brief taking, estimation and scheduling | Budget management and timings | Project planning | Casting | Locations and recceing | Booking of crew, call sheets, insurance and licencing | Risk assessment and safety | On-set management | Overseeing pre and post production | AdGreen carbon calculations
Olay #FaceAnything Digital Campaign
Producer
One of my favourite projects involving 9 amazing women and 1 brilliant crew. Over just 2 days we created content for their website and social channels to promote #Faceanything alongside the Young Women’s Trust Charity. Working closely from the start, we built up an amazing rapport with the women to build their confidence in front of the camera. Which hopefully shows in the finished product.
Kleenex Water Wipes digital campaign
Producer
Managing 5 kids, 5 adults and 9 scenarios over 3 days on location was never going to be easy. But, with proper planning, a true understanding of how to get the best out of kids (ice cream, basically) and a good relationship with the client and agency we created imagery so effective, they extended the licence and renewed the usage.
Moneypenny digital campaign
Producer
Two chaotic scenes were captured for Moneypenny, the business answering service. This brilliant creative idea needed to work across many channels and formats, so we planned our shoot in a way that would give flexibility when putting the ads together. We shot the environments separately and then the talent in the studio. There were over 50 separate scenarios to shoot, including animals and children and there was also a moving component against green screen - the shoot days needed to run like clockwork.
The Seaford Mermaids
Producer
A personal, joyous project shot with photographer, Paul Winter. I researched and found the Seaford Mermaids run by Ruth (left) who is a remarkable 80 years old. Every morning (sewage permitting), this impressive bunch of women and men go and swim in the waters of the Channel. This was an idea to study the dedication and motivation of these early risers but we soon realised that what we wanted to capture was the vitality that the sea seemed to give them as they emerged from the water.
